AYSO Alpine Region 295

Programs

AYSO is a non-profit organization that provides youth soccer programs for participants all over the United States. Consisting of over 50,000 teams and 500,000 players nationwide, AYSO is one of the leading youth soccer organizations in the world -- often called “the biggest soccer club in the world.”

EPIC Mission Statement
The mission of the AYSO EPIC Program is to provide a quality soccer experience for individuals whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult for them to successfully participate on mainstream soccer teams. What is successful participation? It should be defined by the player’s enjoyment and the safety of all team members.

EPIC Vision Statement
The vision of the AYSO EPIC Program is to create EPIC teams in every AYSO Region wherever possible and to maximize opportunities for EPIC player participation where EPIC teams are not available.

FALL CORE

Our core program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement and learning that happens on the fields. AYSO is best known for our core program – it’s where the large majority of kids fall in love with soccer and make memories that will last a lifetime.

There are six core values – or what we call AYSO’s Six Philosophies – that are the foundation of our core program, and all others: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development.

Playground Socccer

The AYSO Playground Soccer program is designed for 3 year olds .  There will be no games on Saturdays but there is weekly practices.  This is a great chance to introduce 3 year olds to the game of soccer without wearing them down.

Spring/co-ed

In the Spring/Co-ed Program, boys and girls play alongside and against one another; however, many other aspects of the program follow the same format as the Fall/Core Season.

The Spring/Co-ed Program is all about fun, staying fit and developing the skills and knowledge of the participants; coaches and players alike. The league will not maintain scores or standings and the emphasis will be on growing a love of the sport while building technique and fitness.

Some travel outside Alpine area fields to neighboring AYSO regions may be required depending on the number of teams that sign-up for each division.

Games typically begin in early March and will be played on Saturdays, until mid-May, with the exception of a few holiday/event weekends
